I grew up with banana ketchup, but over time tomato ketchup has won me over. If it’s not for Max’s Chicken, who paired best with banana ketchup I don’t think I’d be coming back for it. What I love about Maria Orosa is her passion for finding ways to make the Philippines self-sustaining in terms of food nutrition. Not only did she invented banana ketchup, but she also created Soyalac and Darak that saved countless lives in World War 2 and kids from malnutrition.
